Privacy
Work in progressI need to grab some privacy boiler plate this is suitable for this site. The basics at the moment are that; I don't use any Google Analytics, Ads or similar tech on the site but I am currently using Disqus for comments so that will place some cookies. As of November 6th, 2023 I've removed Disqus from the site. The historical comments in Disqus are available over here on Disqus
On December 16th, I've added the anaytics application Ackee to the site. I've chosen it because it's default configuration makes it anonymous and as such doesn't use cookies. They have sample privacy policy on their site
To get information about the behavior of our visitors, we use Ackee. This analytics software gives us insight about our visitors only in general, but not about individuals per se, as it does not track visitors and does not store any personal identifiable information. Go to their documentation to find out what Ackee collects.
You can crosscheck the config used with the tracker javascript by looking at the source of any page here (the script is at the end of the <head>...</head> section)
